Sexual orientation has no relation to one's acting skill.

After all, actors could create fully fleshed out character, but just because they can convincing play a serial killer it isn't a matter of them  actually being a serial killer.

Your concept of who plays a role better is totally subjective. In other words it is simply your opinion which may or many not be shared by others.

One's sexual orientation does not make one a good actor or a bad actor.  It doesn't matter.  I can tell you that anyone, gay or straight, who only focuses on the sexual orientation of their character will probably not do a great job of creating a believable, well-rounded performance.

It's nothing to do with which actor is gay and which is straight.  A really good actor can play a character of any sexuality.

A gay actor can portray a straight character and a straight actor can portray a gay character.

Who is 'better' depends on their talent, training, experience and intelligence - not the actor's own sexuality.

What level of 'gayness' are you thinking of?

A really talented straight actor could probably do a better job than a gay actor who has very little acting skills. But of two equally talented actors, the gay person would probably be a more natural fit for the role.
