Isn't it pathetic that Democrats and Republicans are both owned by corporate sponsors and work against the will of the people?

The both claim it is the other party that sold out, but both only give lip service to breaking up the monopolies and bringing back the wealth.

    You're totally right.  Both our parties need truckloads of cash to run campaigns.  The candidate who spends the most wins about 95% of the time.  As a result, we don't have elections, we have -auctions-.

    Both parties get their money from the same sponsors, so their actual agendas are really the same.

    I see this as part of what I call 'American-style Capitalism'.  Some people call it 'End-Stage Capitalism'.  Everything is valued for how much wealth it can generate for someone.  Bad government makes more money for sponsors than good govt.
