My 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX is making a loud hissing noise.?

This does not happen right from engine start up. It takes about 20 minutes of driving for this noise to occur.

When it does happen, I accelerate and I hear a hissing or a whoosh coming from under the hood that gets louder as rpms rise.

I went the the dealer and they said nothing is wrong with the turbo. I’m thinking intercooler issue? I feel like there is some sort of air leak.

Any suggestions?

Check the vacuum lines to the turbo.

If the intercooler hoses had an air leak you'd have a lack of power. Is the noise happening when you let off the gas pedal? Did you recently put a K&N style air cleaner/CAI on the motor? You may be hearing the blow off valve working to dump the boost.

    Do an overhood inspection.

    Check all vacuum lines.

Check everything from the air filter to the intake plenum.

Check all coolant lines, radiator, cap, overflow, fans, just to be safe.

Once the sound happens, pull over, pop the hood, and then try to find the source of the noise.
