Why are Rowenta steam irons so expensive?

    Because they're a whole lot better than the $15-25 irons you can get anywhere.

    I got my first Rowenta two years ago, and it never spits water when I'm trying to use steam, steams evenly so long as it has water, heats up really fast, and it otherwise superior in every way.

    Now I wish I'd gotten one sooner. If you can afford it, I guarantee it's worth it.
