Corporate America is now starting to realize that racism is bad for business.. So even if these corporations do have an underlying racist perspective it’s not in their economic best interests to let it show at this particular moment in history.

“William T. Thompson creator of the Confederate flag in 1863, said, ‘As a people, we are fighting to maintain the heaven-ordained supremacy of the White man over the inferior or coloured race,’”

This is a symbol of racism, which is why if you look at any white supremacist rally the flag is the one most commonly seen.

Just more catering to the uneducated.

I think they should paint to tops of the cars, while in formation, to make a Confederate flag.

Then, at the last lap, get in formation and drive slow.

Then... stop just before the finish line and get out of their cars. LOL

For NASCAR it's a very bad idea as it alienates their fan base and will likely result in less revenue for the league at a time when the league is already seeing their revenues decrease.

NASCAR needed an idea to reverse the decline they have been seeing for the last decade, but instead they appealed to a black driver without paying any mind to the beliefs of their fans.

Just more corporate cowardice. It's fine to ban White symbols because of the Anti White morality.

I think it's a good idea. We don't stand for slavery as a nation anymore. Right?
