Native English speakers, could you please help me with these issues?

Are both these sentences correct (and do they mean the same):

a) "I always sleep ON MY SIDE."

b) "I always sleep SIDEWAYS."

    'A' is correct and 'B' is implying that you lay from side to side on the bed, rather than your head on the pillow and your feet at the foot of the bed.
