A release of lien form the lender.

The bank should send you a Lien Release (called a certificate of satisfaction where I am).  Honestly, so long as the bank reports the debt as being paid off and this goes on the title, then you don't really need the release, but nice to have it in case they somehow don't report it correctly.

You need documentation showing that they no longer have a lien on the property, and that you own it free and clear of any more mortgage payments.

You need to call the bank and give them an exact pay off date.  They will then send you a pay off letter with the total principal and interest calculated up until that specified date.
