What does ‘I took care of it’ mean here?

"Told my sis there's a daddy long legs downstairs & she goes: "take care of it". So I come back 5 mins later like "I took care of it" #swerve"

Also, what does 'swerve' mean here?

For the basic question, it means you did what needed to be done. For #swerve, it looks like a hashtag, but the exact meaning is unclear, absent context.

It may indicate that he "took care of it" by putting it in her bed, instead of outside. Swerve usually indicates doing the opposite or the unexpected.
