Personal Injury Question?

If my lawyer says there is not sufficient basis for a personal injury case and decides not to move on, but then I win the case with a different lawyer, is the first laywer entitled to anything in for their work Maine. The first laywer had signed a deal for 1/3 of a settlement.

There is no way to answer without seeing the contract you signed with the first lawyer.  I highly suggest you show a your copy to your second lawyer.

If he signed a contract and then did not deliver on said contract he is owed nothing unless it is written into the contract about other lawyers taking the case.
