How does a WBO international title differ from a world title?

    It has far less prestige.  The sanctioning fees are way less.  Holding it doesn't exclude you from being named mandatory by a different sanctioning body.  You don't have to make mandatory defences.  You can defend it against a wider pool of fighters.  I think you can win and defend it in 10-round contests too.  The drug testing is less strict.  If you hold it you will be ranked in the top 10.  There's a different inscription on the belt itself.  If you fight a world champion you lose the belt.
