Why isnt the dryer heating?

i had someone come over to check the dryer out for a problem, the problem was the dryer had stop heating, i had the dryer replaced but the same problem happens. It heats for an hour or two then it starts going cold. The guy that checked it out said that there was no lint in the tube that is connected to the dryer. What would be the problem? Thank you.

I'm not an expert, but is the heating element overloaded, which might explain why whenever it's fixed it breaks?
