It depend on the type of car, your age and post code. Your grandfather is a

Excellent question, but you're asking in the wrong place.

Hint:  Your grandad's insurance provider has a customer service team.

    Other Hint:  This ain't it.

It will cost anything from £0.00 to £1500,00, depending on how old you are, whether you have any physical disabilities, whether you've had any driving convictions, where you live, what you do for a living, the level of cover required and what car your grandfather has.

we have no idea how old you are or where you live ..both important ..or type of car your grandad has ...my son put his wife on his policy as a second driver ..she was a learner ..it cost him nothing ..but she was 25 ...he needs to ring his insurance for an accurate answer

If you're under 19, the cost will probably fall between £75 to £125 PER MONTH. This is a rough estimate because it depends on many factors other than just age and gender.
