What is the best way to remove bathtub caulking that is really old so I can re-caulk it?

Update:

it's super hard and can't get it up with a razorblade

    A blow dryer. Yup, heat.

Heat up the caulking, a section at a time, and it will become pliable and easy to peel away.

Scrape away the old caulking. You can use any number of tools to accomplish it. Then re-caulk.
