What papers should I bring to the dmv to get my permit? What are some examples of the papers I should bring? How much of each document should I bring?

The CA DMV website should tell you.

Look it up on the Ca. DMV website snowflake.

When you get the answers, you will "TAKE" the papers "TO" the DMV, not "BRING" them to the DMV

Well now Dumbass, instead of being pathetically helpless, take some responsibility for yourself for a change. All of that information is clearly spelled out on the California DMV website. It is also clearly spelled out in the California Driver Handbook that you should study before taking the test. The handbook is a free download from their website. If you cannot look it up yourself without help then you aren't mature enough to obtain a permit.
