    4 years old is the legal minimum requirement. And you have to know the alphabet and can ride a straight line with your Little Tykes push car.

    You can drink non alcoholic root beer at any age. 21 here for the alcoholic version.

    Because of the caffeine in it, I would suggest being a teen, or close to it, but, even that is not critical. It has no booze in it, so, it is good for pretty much any age, although I would not advise it for a baby, or very young child.

    If you can hold the can/bottle/cup that it is in; you are old enough.
