A) Use the law of cosines:

d² = 22.0² + 10.0² - 2*22.0*10.0*cos90º = 584

d = 24.2 m

(Actually, since the angle between their paths is 90º, you could just use the Pythagorean Theorem.)

B) For Θ the angle between her initial path and her return path,

sinΘ / 10.0 = sin90º / 24.2

sinΘ = 10.0 / 24.2 = 0.414

Θ = 24.4º

Add that to the angle her initial path makes with east (60º), and you get 84.4º South of East.
