Should Derek Chauvin be charged for first degree murder?

I think he should be and sentenced to immediate death

First degree murder is defined as premeditated murder. That was not the case with that smug son-of-abitch assaholic cop who knelt on that man''s neck while nonchalantly resting his hand in his pocket while killing the hand cuffed victim. Proof positive the cop was not in the threat of danger.

Oh, I want that cop to go to jail where he is going to WISH he was put to death. Those inmates are going to have a hay day with that cop...unless they keep him in solitary confinement for his own protection. Which is a sweet thing to leave him without human contact 23 hours a day!

The coward will probably commit suicide. That would be okay with me. Otherwise, we pay about 50k per year to keep him incarcerated. His life ain't worth it.

And you are why we have a legal system that does not make one person judge, jury  and executioner.

Only people like George Floyd who haven’t even been tried in a court of law are summarily executed here. No trial, no attorney, no judge, no jury.

And we have to be careful with officers of the law who perform those summary executions. Make sure we don’t violate their rights.Make sure that the charges against them are not unreasonable or excessive and the punishment, if any, too severe. After all, it might discourage other police officers from using reasonable violence in subduing those who aren’t resisting arrest. We can’t have that. Then they wouldn’t be able to “protect and serve” us anymore.

He is being charged and the law says he still has the right to a trial, a lawyer, etc.. Same as if you commit any crime.. How come you haven't been calling for Charles Manson's immediate execution and many others who are guilty of Murder. or the BLACKS who are in prison for Mud=rder and was FOUND GUILTY in a court of law with a jury.. LETS JUST ESECUTE IMMEDIATELY EVERY PERSON IN PRISON that is thee for murder..

    '

:Lets use lethal force and KILL EVERY RIOTER who threw rocks, bricks and pipes at cops and who threw those huge fireworks/ homemade bombs at the to for attempted murder.. Lets just go back to the OLD WEST STYLE OF JUSTICE and KILL anyone who we think needs killing to protect our property.. That is what needs to be done to stop the RIOT... Peaceful Protest IS NOT STEALING, BURNING, Destruction of others property so Let them March and KILL THE ACTUAL RIOTERS and LOOTERS..

Um, Manson's already dead. He never killed anyone with his bare hands or a weapon-he wasn't there that nite. He got the most he could have gotten for planning the massacre & having it carried out by others. . . fyi.

Then it's damn good YOU aren't in charge of anything. Even if Chauvin was charged with 1st degree murder, it wouldn't justify a lynch mob, which is what you are. He'll get his day in court, like everyone else.

Brown was killed while in the act of attacking a officer and trying to take his gun. Trayvon was killed while beating a  civilians mans head against  the sidewalk.

For first degree you would have to prove that he knew him before and willfully planned to kill him.

Third degree or Involuntary Manslaughter is a no-brainer since the film clearly shows Chauvin with his knee on the neck for long enough to kill him.

But they could have tried for second degree or Voluntary Manslaughter, since he has a history of prior excessive force and was being told by the victim, the audience, and his fellow officers he was killing him.

I clearly concluded seeing it that he could breathe, or he wouldn't be able to say 1 word, but what else could he say-"You're blocking my Carotid Artery!!!"? That cop has a history & should be hung in public!

Depends on if he meets the requirement for it- I don’t know it- I’m not a lawyer.

Hopefully though he spends a long time in prison and gets beat up often.

Tell us how he planned the incident that resulted in a criminal resisting arrest dying.  BETCHA CAN'T!!  First degree murder requires intent and planning.  Why don't you want him to have a trial?  Are you afraid of what might come out during a trial?  Afraid your little narrative might be found to be fantasy?  There is NO evidence of first degree anything except first degree stupidity on your part.  Go back to law school.

The famiy and friends should have performed an extrajudicial execution of Derek Chauvin. Instead, they chose to burn their local hospital because they are lying idiots and don't care enough about George Floyd to avenge him.

Derek Chauvin and his victim Floyd George both worked security at the same night club. They were not strangers.

How would Chauvin have recognized Floyd? Don't all black people look alike to cops?
