How do I change a photograph width 960 pixels height 1280 pixels to 5 megabytes?

    Pixels refer to physical size (the number of dots that make up the whole picture). MB is filesize (the space it occupies on the hard disk). 

    Check first the filesize in your computer's file manager (windows explorer, Mac Finder, etc.). If the picture is 5MB or under (I will assume that is what you need), then it's okay already. If not, open the picture in your graphics program then Save As to another filename but increase the compression a bit before clicking Save. Check the new file's size. If still over 5MB, repeat the process from the original file and increase compression then check filesize again. It's a trial-and-error process that shouldn't take long. Just make sure you don't overwrite the original file. It would be best to save an exact back-up copy just in case.
