Should Democrats be held accountable for the Minneapolis riots? Didn't their anti-cop rhetoric go too far?
Shame on Democrats for making the USA less safe by shaming the police as a whole and using divisive anti-cop rhetoric.

No. A cop went too far.

Ha! This is Trumps America! He spurred on this reaction with his usual big mouthed empty headed threats!
So you can blame who you want but if he isn’t out in November then America is doomed!
Like someone else on here who quoted Rick Wilson’s book “Everything Trump Touches Dies” this is becoming so true, the guy is a disaster, a miserable contemptuous unmitigated disaster! His reckless ignorance, his endless stream of lies, his total lack of responsibility that blames anyone or anything which makes his attempts at leadership f*****g worthless.....he has to go!!!

Your message seems very un-Republican.
I thought the super right wanted their own guns to carry everywhere. So, the good guy with a gun will be there when there are bad guys right? They were for local militia. If that's the case they don't need cops.
I also thought right-wingers were 'fuack the establishment!'
(Thought would have been very right-wing pov)
Anyway, the American people should have the right to protest and put the authorities in check. Abuse of power is a legitimate concern for anybody in a position of power. Cops definitely do have a problem with it especially when emotions are out of check. People need to fight against their natural instinct and keep a cool head. Even people guarding conservations for endangered animals in different countries are known to give into abuse of power and just start killing people. People in general, because they want to feel the rush of being dominant will be an ash-hole, amplify that with a position of power, you will get abuse of power. Anybody can be guilty of it. It takes discipline not to do it. Cops are not an exception.
For Minneapolis, Democratic leader has gone on camera to plead the riots weren't protesting. He pleaded for the citizens not to do that. It's not a Democratic thing to burn down their city. But the great thing about this country is, our leaders ask us for cooperation. At the EOD, public citizens can always say no as a mob and not listen to what their leaders have to say.
**Honestly, if our leaders don't hear out what the American people have to say, it doesn't matter what label you put on them Liberal, Conservative or whatever. If people aren't heard, riots are inevitable, overtime those unheard will result to violent action out of frustration. ** That will go for any country. Riots are a symptom of our government leaders not acting on the people's behalf. This is currently happening under Trump's America and it's been a problem under every President before him.
You're viewing it from a political tunnel vision. There's plenty of right-wing violent mobs. If you're viewing everything from the news, also be aware every piece of news is a form of propaganda. Especially when they use labels or put a political spin to it to tell you how to feel. If you aren't physically there to go through it, take the news with a grain of salt, they blow everything up. They want to gain power by influence, popularity, loyal following and increased ratings. All news can easily be corrupt to pander for more attention and power.
It's mob violence coming from mob mentality. That is actually part of human nature. Mob violence in the history of human civilization is prevalent. Mob violence is known to come from poor planning and organization. Protest organizers need to get together with their people beforehand, establish peaceful protests rules to fight against our very nature for anger turning to violence. Same for soldiers in invasive ops, they need to be explained the rules that rape and pillaging during an invasion is a no-go to fight against that nature. Human beings are animals and can easily lose control, do things that surprise themselves.

If any Democrat is responsible for this cop's actions it would be the former Hennepin County Prosecutor (and also former Presidential candidate) Amy Klobuchar who opted not to prosecute him the last time he did something questionable. She was amongst my favorite Dem candidates but as all this comes out her VP aspirations are going up in smoke (literally up in smoke).

Yes, the commie dems do have to take a large responsibility for these riots. What was done to this poor man was horrible.. but why in Gods name to blacks and commie dems always think that the answer is to burn and steal and murder after and that will make it right. Such stupidity. Not a good remembrance in this mans name! I did not know him or his family, I am not black.. but I will pray for them all and wish for saner heads to stop all the extra carnage.

The people should not be rioting. The family of the victim should be hunting down and disemboweling the assailant of their loved one. Justice and government intervention cannot save you. Only revenge, and spilling the blood of those who have assailed you, can set you free.
The family of the black man who was killed must hunt down the police officers responsible and spill their blood.

These people, and yes, it tends to be Blacks, don't remember the teachings of MLK who believed in peaceful protest. They believe in using a crisis to destroy, steal, and kill. And what's worse is that all Blacks have to suffer the injury to their reputations because of these people who weren't raised properly.

You blame Democrats? That's typical. Cops kill a man and you decide to behave like crybaby trump and blame everything wrong in the world on Dems? Fool.

I think the guy that kneeled on George Floyd's neck for 8 minutes while he begged for his life should be held responsible for his actions, along with the three other officers who stood by and watched while doing nothing. If you have 10 bad cops and 1,000 good cops but the 1,000 good cops do not do anything about the bad cops, then you've got 1,010 bad cops.
