Is this a real name?

My friend was asking for suggestions for her new baby girl and someone suggested Bexley.   😑

I kinda hate it. Sounds like the last name of some Jane Austen guy or something. Anyway, I've never heard of it

Yes, it is now although very uncommon. It's an area of London or a city in Ohio that's been used as a girl's name since the late 90s.

Actually it is, a novel name in the Kinsley/Ainsley/Paisley family. Bexley debuted on the US Top 1000 in 2016 and is definitely one of the trendiest girl names starting with B.

Bexley is a borough of south-east London (UK).
