If my mind naturally follows the drum beat of a song, does that mean I could be good at playing the drums?

Not necessarily. Anyone can follow a beat, but being able to play rhythms is another thing. In order to be a skillful drummer you need to  be able to play various rhythms. You need to know the difference between keeping  a beat and playing rhythms.

Sure, give it a shot! Even if you struggle at first, with practice you'll get better. Music is fun, and I think you should try playing the drums.

No it means you'll be really bad at drums.

No.  The rhythm is nearly always the most basic and simplest part of western music, and even people unable to perceive music can follow the rhythmic component.

No.   You need great coordination to play the drums.

No, frankly it doesn't have anything to do with playing the drums. It's like focusing on the vocals doesn't mean you'd be a good singer.
