Why don't J K Rowling and Stephen King have goodreads accounts? Why don't they want people to see what they have read?

I think Stephen King has talked about what he has read in authors notes.

Also authors struggle with how much time to spend online because it cuts into time they should be writing and both those authors do seem active on twitter. Also much of what they have read if they liked is likely mentioned in a blurb on the back cover of that book

    Why on earth should they?

Possibly the same reason I don't have a Goodreads account - which is that I don't see the point.

I like writing reviews, and sometimes I ADD a few possibilities to my "to read" list.
