Does this oil work for a dirtbike?
I've got a 2001 Kawasaki klr 250. My Pops told me to get some 10/30 oil and this is what I found looking for oil. Will it work well for my bike? I hardly know a thing about oil. Haha. Thank you

The issue is whether your bike has a wet clutch and if that oil contains friction modifiers. The oil will not damage your engine, but your clutch may slip. If it does, don't panic, just change it for some motorcycle specific oil.

Your engine requires SAE 10W-40 oil. What you show is 10W-30, not the same. It'll probably do at a push but won't have the correct properties at high temperatures.

Yes. It’s SN.

Old Japanese 4-stroke dirt bikes use obsolete oils, 10W-40/20W-40, API SF to API SL preferably with a JASO MA oil specification. API SN 10W-40 oil with a JASO MA spec can be used.
