That equation is in slope-intercept form:

y = mx + b

m : slope (2)

b : y-intercept (3)

Check your choices and pick the one where the y-intercept is 3.

Some possibilities:

y = ½x + 3

y = 4x + 3

y = 7x + 3

etc.

Which of the following....

ay = bx + 3a

i.e. y = (b/a)x + 3

Regardless or the values of a and b, with x = 0 we have y = 3

x is zero at the y-intercept. Plugging 0 in for x in y=2x+3 gives you a y-intercept of +3. So, plug 0 in for x in each of the equations you've been given to choose from. The one that produces +3 for y is the correct answer.

I don't see the equations. However, it would be the one that passes through 3.
