Fried ravioli is better than boiled. Sorry, but it is.

That's nothing we deep fry Twinkies and Oreo cookies. If the cat doesn't move fast enough it's a goner.....

If it stays still long enough most any culture will try to deep fry it.

    Dipped in a batter

    Dipped in flour

    Wrapped in dough

    Wrapped in pasta

Dough with nothing in it deep fried...(who can argue with deep fried dough? With a sauce for savory or dipped in something sweet..)

    Could go through the alphabet..

    Deep fried Avocado

    all the way to

    Deep fried Zucchini

    People deep fry it all.

Before you judge, try the toasted ravioli at Campisi's Egyptian Restaurant at one of their Dallas locations. The name makes no sense, but that appetizer is absolutely top-shelf. I last had it 40 or so years ago, and it's still vivid in my memory.
