No, it isn't cheating. That's within the rules of the game.

It is a great honour to have the greatest Answerer of all times answer one of my questions.  Thank you conley39, and beware of Pearl L., he/she/they ambition to take your title.

Phone a friend is part of playing the game. It is not cheating if they allow it.

It's an advantage, yes. But it's not cheating.

It's only cheating if you have an unfair advantage over other contestants. Everyone who plays "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" gets the option to phone a friend.

It’s not cheating if It’s apart of the game .You are allowed 3 lifelines to help you

Phone a friend doesn’t always help as the person may not know the answer or may not finish the question in time.

The latest UK version seems to have four -- asking clarkson (who often has no idea) is one of them.

If it is part of the game...how is that cheating? That's like saying that the Community Chest cards in Monopoly are cheating or the Draw 4 cards in Uno.
