I have a Subaru Robin EX 17 motor that I want to buy a magnetic drain plug for. Need to know the thread size.?

    You don't need a magnetic drain plug in a motor. Manual transmissions use magnetic drain plugs to pick up metal worn off the gears to help make the bearings last longer,

    Motors don't have any parts making particles that a magnet would draw to it.

    Change your oil and filter every 3,000 miles or every 5,000 miles if running synthetic oil to protect the motor.

    Write down the model number of the engine and get a drain plug from a small engine store.  The drain plugs on these small engines are standard sizes.
