narrow mindedness of california?

when researching California and watching you tube videos on northern California and southern California. its often mentioned northern California is colder, less sunny. has a hipster atmosphere and the tech industry quiet sure their being narrow minded referring all of northern California to be in the San Francisco bay area as where theirs really 8million+ people outside the bay area such as the central valley in norcal where its warm sunny not a

tech industry. and if i have a valid point why are other places in norcal left out and only the bay area is often mentioned its a polar opposite life if you drive 1 hour away from the city feel like their giving norcal a thumbs down when it shouldnt be

Because California is such a large state, in territory and population, there is a great deal of diversity throughout. For many, the Bay Area is not a less cosmopolitan area than other parts of the state, despite clear climatic differences between it and SoCal, as well as the Central Valley and mountainous areas, among others. Given CA's diversity, any broad generalizations about any area or region are likely to have many exceptions.

No idea what you're talking about. I have never heard the people of California lumped together as "narrow-minded". The area north of San Fran gets quite a bit of attention. Inland areas are mostly agricultural- quite dependent on migrant labor. Not sure what you mean by "polar opposite"- can you explain?
