Learning path for game development?Am I missing something?
I have decided this path for game development.
1) choose an engine. I am comfortable with c++. So, i have decided to learn unreal engine.
2) First I want to learn the algorithms used in game development. For that I am buying broquard books "game programming theory in c++".
3) after that, i will dive into any good unreal engine course.
4) make games.
Can I add something else in this learning path?

Maybe skip the book, because the title suggests that it is more about writing an engine yourself, and less about writing scripts for an existing engine.
Managing and displaying 3D graphics is very different from handling enemy movement.
OTOH, having a solid grasp of programming in general is very useful and essential anyway.
