equivalent of NADPH for each catalytic cycle.

(a) CyP450 reductase is a flavoprotein. What does this mean?

(b) NADPH is the original electron source in the reaction. To where is each electron

directly transferred in the mechanism of CyP450 and where do both electrons

ultimately end up in the reaction.

(c) Explain how Cytochrome P450s are oxidases but ultimately require a reducing agent in the reaction.
