"Te noté" is I *noticed* you.

The word for "I notice" is "noto."

    "I want" is "quiero."

"Quería" is past tense, "I wanted."

     Good morning:

I’m confused , your English version is in present tense whereas your Spanish version is in past tense . I think such sentence sounds better when using the past tense though I’m not an expert in the English language , maybe in English such sentence sounds ok if it’s said in the present tense .

This is how I would translate such sentence ( I’m using the past tense ,  I assume it’s ok to use the past tense because you used it when translating into Spanish):

Me percaté de tu presencia y quería saber más de ti .

    God bless you
