cant figure out how to answer this?

Sarah was making cupcakes for her friends birthday. the recipe she found makes 24 cupcakes but she only needs to make 6 cupcakes so she decided to make 1/4 of the recipe. if the original recipe calls for 3/4 of a tablespoon of salt, how much salt did she use in her modified recipe?

The correct answer would be a pinch, that is just a skosh more than a dash.

Multiply 3/4 by 1/4. The answer is 3/16.

    Check your answer. 3/16+3/16+3/16+3/16 = 12/16 = 3/4.
