    Let the side-length of the square be x cm.

    2(x/2)^2=7.53^2

    =>

    x=10.649 

    =>

    x^2=113.4 cm^2

    The area of the yellow part

    =

    pi(7.53^2)-113.4

    =

    64.73 cm^2

    Draw the diagonals of the red square, dividing it into 4 isosceles right triangles. 

    What is the area of one triangle?

    What is the area of the square?

    Now ignore the square. What is the area of the circle?

    Subtract.

    Ac=pi*7.53^2 =178.04cm^2

    As= ((7.53*2)^2)/2=113.40

    178.04-113.40= 64.64 cm^2

    Let each side of the square = x cm.

    Area of the square = x² cm² 

    Again for the square ---

    Length of the Diagonal = 2 ( 7.53 )  =  15.06 cm

    Diagonal is also  = Sqrt of ( 2 x²)

    Hence  2 x²  =  15.06² cm = 226.8036

    => x²  =  113.4018 cm²

    =>  x²  =  113.4018 cm²  ...... This is Area of the square  ........... (1)

    -------------------------------  ----------------------------

    Area of the Circle  = π R ².... Where R = Radius of the circle in cm

    => Area of the circle  =  π (7.53)²   =  178.13113 cm² 

    Now Area of the yellow portion (A)  = Area of the Circle - Area of the square

    =>  A  =  178.13113 cm² - 113.4018  =   64.7 cm²  ........... Answer

    You can also solve this problem even without doing intermediate calculations -

    Area (A1) of the circle of radius (R)  =  π R²

    Area (A2) of the square = x² ...... where  x cm is length of side of the square

    Now for the square --  x² + x²  =  ( 2R )²  =  4 R²

    =>  2 x²  =  4 R²   =>  x²  =  2 R²

    Hence Area of the square =  2 R²

    But Yellow area (A)  =  Area of the circle - area of the square.

    =>  A  =  π R² - 2 R²  

    =>  R² ( π - 2 )  =  (7.53)² ( 3.1416 - 2 )

    => A  =  56.70 * 1.14  =  64.7 cm²  ................ Answer

    b = 2(7.53) = 15.06 cm

    h = 7.53 cm

    Area of a square

    A = 2(1/2bh)

    A(square) = (15.06)(7.53) = 113.4018 cm^2

    Area or circle 

    A(circle) = πr^2 = π(7.53)^2 = 56.7009π cm^2

    A = 56.7009π cm^2 - 113.4018 cm^2 = 64.7 cm^2 answer//

    The area of the yellow region:

    The area of the circle - area of the square

    = pi 7.53^2 - (1/2)(15.06)^2 

    = 178.13 - 113.4

    = 64.7 cm^2

    it appears the radius of the circle is 7.53 cm

    which is half the diagonal of the square, or 15.06 cm

    the diagonal divides the square into two isosceles triangles, which have the sides of  

    15.06/√2 = 10.65

    so the area of the square is 10.65² = 113.4 cm²

    the area of the circle is πr² = π7.53² = 178.1 cm²

    yellow is the diff, 64.7 cm²
