Think about any issues that have come up while you have been in school. Any controversies, things that didn't go smoothly, times you felt you could have been better informed. Ask your friends and classmates what issues they've had. Then ask yourself how you would have solved the problems, or at least made them better, had you been in a position to. These are all issues you can add to your campaign. Look at what a secretary does. Why would you be the right person for the job? What skills do you have that set you apart from other candidates?

As Secretary you wouldn't really be in the position to affect a lot of change around the school. So your best ploy here is probably to stress how your attention to detail in the recording of Council meetings would benefit the student body.

If you can't think of yout own, you are not ready to be elected to anything.

Make your speech as detailed as you can about how much you love President Trump and Mike Pence.  Talk about how Trump has improved the economy, relaxed the strangle hold on corporations, protected free speech, and the right to bare arms.  Then say that Trump has inspired you to run for office as student council secretary and your only wish is to do as good a job in public service as your mentor, Trump.
