If a person had a title loan and dies and loan place closed how do survivors clear the lien?
My friends son's wife died. He wants to sell her van but she had taken a title loan against it. Loan place went out of business and now he can't do anything with the van. He can't pay it off because no one knows where to go from here. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance 😊

Someone still has the lien. Send a letter to the loan place and ask for a forwarding address.
The past due loan has to be paid.
