    P(-0.47 ≤ z ≤ 2.40) => P(z ≤ 2.40) - P(z ≤ -0.47)

    i.e. P(z ≤ 2.40) - P(z ≥ 0.47)

    or, P(z ≤ 2.40) - [1 - P(z ≤ 0.47)]

    so, P(z ≤ 2.40) + P(z ≤ 0.47) - 1

    Now, refer to normal tables.

    You should get 0.6726

    Hence, about 67.3%

    Lookup in your z table. That's the technique!  Deduce the area between those two values. that's what they are asking.
