I've been reading up on the White Room torture method, and I'm wondering if the same method, but red, instead, would have the same effects?

The White Room torture method works by depriving the senses. The person is only fed unseasoned white rice, the walls, floor, and ceiling are all white, their clothes are white, the room is soundproof, and everything has a smooth texture, as white is the absence of color. The lights, white, are always left on. They suffer hallucinations and lose their sense of self within just a few days within the White Room. Would they still be affected the same way if they used the color red? Would red satisfy the need for color?

What about when the lights dim? Hallucinating might be in color. Like a tv you can't change to the old prototype. Yes if the color changed to blue or purple it would work. Red is anger or make them full of lust.

yes..well probably. but white is brighter than red and penetrates your eyelids to prevent red would work but you might need a little something extra to keep them from sleeping too well
