Chance of rabies in Oklahoma?

Does anyone know the likelihood of bats being in a city home in Oklahoma? I keep being terrified of bats biting me and me getting rabies and dying.

Bats are coming out of hibernation so getting one indoors this season is possible.

The chance of getting rabies from a bat in your house,,about nil, not likely at all.

It is a valid concern. Not sure if bats are abundant in Oklahoma, but they are very abundant in New Mexico near the Carlsbad Caverns and in Texas. Bat bites are barely detectable since they have tiny teeth. If you are really scared, go get a rabies vaccine. You do not have to be bitten before you get the vaccine, and it will protect you in case you are bitten by a rabid animal. You can ask your doctor about the vaccine.
