Can a case be made that Drew Brees is actually OVERrated now ?

No, even his postseason rating (99.6) is better than in the regular season. His teams averaged 30 points allowed in 8 playoff losses.

No, Drew Brees is arguably the greatest quarterback to ever play the game of football. Brees owns the all-time record in pretty much every major passing category (such as passing yards, passing touchdowns, and completion percentage).

If any old active QB is over rated,it should be Phillip Rivers.

I think a case can be made he is underrated. He wasn't named to the 2010's All Decade Team when he had more passing yards and more touchdown passes in those 10 years than the two QBs who did make the All Decade Team, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.

Over the last 3 years Brees has completed 73.5% of his throws, averaging over 8 yards an attempt. He's also thrown for 82 TDs vs. 17 INTs.
Anyone who says he's overrated is a moron, or a Dallas fan.
If you want overrated go look up Tommy Bundchen. I'm going to enjoy watching him get his butt kicked this year.
