Have you seen the Moon?

Since the lockdown in the U.K. I’ve notice the moon, something I rarely see.

I, too, live in the UK. The reason you may not have seen the Moon before is because you have not bothered to look at it. However, it is there. All too often we cannot see it because of cloud cover.

At the moment in the UK we are enjoying good weather (typical when you are under house arrest because of the pandemic) and in the evening the skies are clear of cloud. Plus, the Moon is currently a full moon. Therefore, if you look up into the sky above the UK at the moment the Moon is going to be pretty damned obvious.

That is because it has been such a clear Sky

Last nigh I could see a rare alignment

Of the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars

See if you can borrow some good binoculars or a small telescope... it can be quite spectacular close up.  And, the next few days, you'll have a full moon to view.

That wasn't the moon you saw. it was the queen bending over after stepping out of the shower. Riding horses will give you a spread.

Yes I have, for the past several nights.

Whether it shines brightly in a clear night sky, or it only peeks through the clouds for a few seconds, it is always a wonderful sight.

I saw the moon last night (after the clouds went away).

Why do you see it so rarely?  And, being in the UK, where England is, why do you think "I've notice" is the way to phrase that in English?
