Should I name a 2020 baby "Pearl"?

Or would something like Ka'Pearl or Pearlandra be age appropriate?

I actually like Pearl as a stand alone name(I would use it to honor a Margaret in my family), and I think it will actually fit well with 2020 trends; old names making a come back, nature names, nautical names, etc. If anything, I think it is right in fashion without being trendy.

Pearl or Perla would be more appropriate. Ka'Pearl and Pearlandra are not good names. Also, remember that every older person named Pearl was a baby, then a child, once. They weren't born old ladies.

Now, if you aren't crazy about using Pearl, may I suggest Margaret with the nickname Maggie? Margaret means "pearl".

My best friend's name is Perla and she goes by Pearl - it's a beautiful name all by itself.

Pearl is a lovely name, the other two not so much.
