Truth or False?
Living things are made of a unique set of materials not found in other substances in

Mostly false. Partly true. Your teacher is stupid.
Our atoms can be found in other places.
Some of our small molecules (such as water) can be found in other places.
Our big molecules -- proteins and long nucleic acid chains and long carbohydrate chains -- are produced by living things here.
Organelles, cells, tissues, organs, organ systems -- those are unique to living things.
Your (stupid) teacher should rephrase the question to emphasize a limit to "set of materials."

False. There is nothing unique in living organisms. Of course, there may be unique molecules but they can be unique to a species not all living things. In fact, most amino acids are NOT found in living organisms.
