Jehovah's Witnesses and other Christians, how did the chief priests and scribes turn people away from Jesus and get him killed?

    They relied on political privilege and patronage to populate the crowds with willing sycophants, much as do today's politicians.

    Jesus was the "savior" of the Christians not the Jews.

    Similar to MSM today.  The people were mostly very poor, robbed by top ones.  Always the same. 

    No power.  Same as today.
