The answer is a little more complicated than a simple yes or no. Viruses have been around for millenia. They are not alive--they're protein constructions, that attach to other cells and convert them. As people populated the earth many millenia ago, they came into greater contact with each other and viruses spread, mutated, changed, and grew into more of a threat. Some of them cause severe illnesses, others don't.

So is it man-made? In a way it is. Was this particular virus a lab-created, conspiracy? No. Coronaviruses are a family of viruses that have been around for a long, long time. Animals carry them without getting sick. But when those animals come into contact with humans in some way--through using the animal for food or in other ways, viruses get transmitted--then mutate--and they become a threat.

Our population is FAR more condensed and heavy than it was when the earth began to be populated, and in those areas where it is very heavily populated and people live in very close proximity, ANY illness can spread to this level if not checked. Coronavirus is just one of them--the flu virus has been a serious problem for more than two centuries now; measles, whooping cough, mumps and other "childhood" diseases are as well--and the mutated versions of Corona like SARS and MERS are worse. People who want you to believe that this is some sort of global conspiracy or act of terrorism are just not looking at history or science for answers--they want someone to blame because it makes them feel more in control. The truth is, they're not in control anyway and wouldn't be even if this WERE a government issued virus. But they think they can find an easy answer.

Can you blame anyone? Well, yes, and no, again. You can blame governments for not recognizing that pandemics are a real and terrifying possibility and for allowing politics to get in the way of global health problems. Or you can blame overpopulation and bad living conditions for giving viruses like Corona a good place to get a foothold. But can you blame any entity for CREATING it? No. It was always there. .

It isn't 'man made' I don't think men are that intelligent.  It was spread by eating contaminated meat.

Didn't they just arrest a guy from Harvard Univ. Biology Dept. for creating the virus and sending it to China?

The pandemic experts are all saying it started in wildlife (wet) markets in Wuhan, China.

Paranoid people who invent conspiracy theories imagine that it was man made.

If you choose to believe the conspiracy theorists over the pandemic experts then I pity you.

It would be illogical for China to willingly kill off or send it's customers broke, saying that the ability of this virus to be able to still infect 1000's of people everyday while well into lockdown seems un-natural.

China is/was communist. It has/had no real customers. But, you're right with that second part.

All signs point to the answer being yes.  That's why Governments are taking such unprecedented action.

You've never seen this kind of reaction before.
