Should we just complete 9 remaining matches this season behind closed doors?

No. This season has gone. Players' heads are in the wrong place. It'd be like forcing the match to go ahead after the Heysel tragedy.
And if you're thinking next season will start back 1st week of Aug ... dream on.

Then you would still be putting the players health as risk.

Not sure how that will pan out. Players are taking massive pay cuts (70% for the entire FC Barcelona first team) and they are not likely to play for you if you do not pay them in full. Without ticket sales, i.e. empty stadiums, clubs will not generate enough revenue to pay their players and staffs. Sponsors are struggling too. West Ham's sleeve sponsor went into administration a few days ago.
Wimbledon Tennis Championships, which generally is played in July, is cancelled which means things are not likely to get better in 3 months time.
As 75% of the match days are done in leagues around Europe, the authorities can end the season if the remaining matches cant be completed before August with the current standings being taken as final.
Restarting the league from match day 1 means there are more questions to ask than answers, for example, will ManUtd shift Bruno Fernandes back to Lisbon as his transfer was done in a season which was declared void? Do Pedro and Giroud sign 1 year extension given that their contracts are up in July 2020? etc.
Judging by the rate of infections, the next season might be cancelled as well. The corona vaccine is not likely to arrive before the end of this year. Remember, there are 4 mild and 3 severe coronaviruses are found in human beings and our space exploring, gene cloning scientists are yet to come with a vaccine for each of them.

That is likely to happen now and live TV will bring it into our homes. Looking forward to it at the end of May onwards
