What's so bad about 3 days of death?

The wages of sin is death!

Jesus died to pay our debt!

Jesus died for 3 days.

If 3 days of death paid off our debt, that means the wages if sin is death, for 3 days.

What's so bad about that?

Jesus's death was not the atonement. The lion's share of the atonement took place in a quiet garden at night before his arrest. It was an infinite punishment for sin. Its agony was so intense that blood seeped from his pores and ran like sweat. No completely mortal man could have long survived that. Only Jesus Christ, the son of God.

Christ "paid" those "wages" by His death. Isaiah 53, 1 Cor. 15:1-4.

You're being a little short sighted. Because Jesus is God, his atoning sacrifice on the cross is a source of infinite power and merit, for the truly faithful, of all generations.

The length of time for Jesus was irrelevant. He died. He paid that debt. If you die, paying for your own debt, you will remain dead, and this "death" is not what you think it is. I'll give you a hint. God told Adam that should he sin by eating of that fruit of the forbidden tree, he would die. The serpent said they would not die, using a different definition of what it means to die. You are working from the premise of the serpent's interpretation of death, and not God's.

The Bible is clear that eternal torment in a literal fire-burning hell is what awaits unbelievers (Rev. 20:10-15).

Because we have all sinned against a perfectly holy and righteous God, we all deserve eternal separation from God in hell (Rom. 6:23). However, God loves us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to die on the cross as our Substitute so we don't have to go to hell. Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the grave three days later (1 Cor. 15:3-4). He gives eternal life freely to anyone who simply believes in Him for it. No one can be saved by doing good works. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (Eph. 2:8-9).

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life" (John 6:47).

Let us see you die for three days and then come back.

Ecclesiastes 8:8There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

Jesus couldn't die for the sins of a free-range chicken.

    Romans 6:23 = More horsesh`t that a 10,000 acre ranch.

Christ died for our sins. Dare we make his martyrdom meaningless, by not committing them?????

Exactly, besides Jesus prayed 3 time and the Father didn't answer. No answer means NO.
