If you're going anywhere outside of your house then I would suggest wearing a mask just to protect yourself. Better safe than sorry, especially since things are getting worse now.

you should when you're shopping anywhere.  You can't be sure that other people won't get close to you.  But I don't think so if you're walking your dog by yourself or working in the yard.

Since the COVID-19 is air-borne, you need to protect yourself, even if you don't get to close to people. Play it safe....stay healthy.

This depends on your local laws.  In some areas, you are legally required to cover your mouth and nose if you are leaving your home.

There's really no reason to not wear one. It won't hurt anything and it may help stop the spread of the virus.

Yes, it’s important to wear a mask even if you aren’t getting close.

Close is relative. You can seem like you're far away but a sneeze droplet could travel a maximum distance of 1000ft(depending on the situation). So it is best to wear a mask in public.

Although it depends on what city you're in.

If you are sick and stay to yourself, it does not matter about the mask.  If you do go near people, the mask will protect them
