Why does Russia have so many tanks?
As of 2020, the Russian Ground Forces has 12,980 tanks, including 20 T-14 Armata, 550 T-90, 10 BMPT Terminator, 3,450 T-80, and 8,950 T-72. The US Army, meanwhile, has 5,886 tanks, including 1,611 M1A2 SEP v2, 775 M1A1SA, and 3,500 M1.

tanks are very expensive death traps, modern anti tank missiles will go through them like and hot knife through butter. a sobering thought for unlucky enough to have be inside one
