What Coronavirus pandemic teaches us, descriptively, and Who/what we value?

Hopefully more of us are concerned about elderly relatives than we've been before. But it's probably teaching us that a lot of the delivery and grocery jobs people are now risking their lives to do could be better done by robots. The first two cities to really get a handle on this by having people work from home were Seattle and San Francisco, both high tech hubs. It's easy for coders and software engineers to work from home. Not so much for some other occupations. The outcome of this could be lives lived more separately and that means jobs that require manual labor may become a thing of the past.
