Ladies, is divorce equally as sacred as marriage?
Whats not to like about a "get out of jail not free but at high cost card" if you're a dude. If you're a lady, get out of jail and get free stuff.

You very obviously don't understand the legal profession, something you continue to prove.
Ever hear of prenups? There are also postnups. There are also "dudes" who actually ASK for "stuff" instead of sitting passively when property and debts are split.

There is nothing sacred about divorce.

In most places, the ONLY things that are divided up are things that EITHER acquired DURING the marriage.
In law, there is no "mine" and "yours" during a marriage. Everything earned and acquired is view as belonging equally to both.
If you earned huge amounts of money during the marriage and your wife never worked at all, she will not even get 50% of your marriage-earnings.
If she worked during your marriage, you are equally entitled to half of what SHE earned.
Anything owned BEFORE the marriage stays with the person AFTER the divorce. And anything acquired DURING the marriage (except for inheritances, which are not considered marital property) WILL BE divided 50/50, even if it is put in your name only or her name only.
There is no free stuff upon a divorce. And if YOU divorce she has to have put up with YOU . and that is worth all the money in the world seeing as you sound very self-centered and materialistic.
Do not confuse child support with alimony or division of marital property. The Courts' primary concern is for the well-being of the children, not either spouse.
